UnLtd have released a social entrepreneurship toolkit which outlines the opportunities and challenges of starting a social enterprise in the UK.
The toolkit is written by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, Simpacta and Red Ochre and, drawing on the authors' experiences of supporting social enterprises, it provides practical guidance and working models for every stage of the journey.
It is divided into 7 separate sections:
- Initial Idea & Vision
- Project Concept & Design
- Start-Up & Set-Up
- Piloting
- Operational Stability & Social Impact
- Sustainability
- Long Term Growth/Replication
