It seems size matters after all, at least when it comes to where Europeans would prefer to work.
If given a choice between working for a small or medium enterprise (SME) or a multinational corporation (MNC), a majority of Europeans would prefer to work in SMEs.
Perhaps this number is not surprising considering SMEs are the backbone of Europe’s economy, representing 99% of all businesses in the EU.
What is surprising (at least to us), is that MNCs seem to be quite popular among younger generations:
- 37% of those under 30 would rather work at a MNC than at a SME
- 30% for those older than 30 would rather work at a MNC than at a SME
Would you have guessed?
